Again: Ubuntu 9.04 vs Kubuntu 9.04

Ok, I did it again... started off with the terminal command: sudo apt-get install kubuntu-desktop [enter]..... strange thing is that I tried this many times before, why? Don't know why... I like GNOME a lot, but I keep wondering why shouldn't I change to KDE, It looks a lot smoother compared to GNOME, no... it looks great!!! Every time when I use the kubuntu desktop I think in the first few minutes: WOOOOWWWW!!!!!!! this is great, the look, the feel....but then....

after working with KDE for some weeks I start thinking....Ohh...In GNOME this was much more easy...this feeling continues for a couple of days and then I started deleting the Kde files for a pure GNOME desktop. When I startup my pc again and logg in to the GNOME desktop, the firts thought is: Yes, this is what I like, GNOME.  The filemanager (nautilus) works much more intuitive compared to Dolphin, Thunderbird looks much better when running in GNOME, the look and especially the FEEL is great within GNOME.  So for me it's GNOME although the looks of KDE are great!!

ook ik moet bekennen dat ik de laatste tijd actief ben op twitter. Voorheen was ik er wel wat sceptisch over maar ik moet zeggen dat het een aanrader is. Heel veel interessante mensen, onderwerpen (ook linux/ubuntu) zijn er te vinden op Twitter. Helaas nog niet zoveel bekenden die Twitteren, maar dat komt nog wel...

Niet alleen Ubuntu op mijn twitter, maar ook allerlei andere onderwrpen die me bezig houden. Prima communicatiemiddel en leuk om te doen!

NOg geen account? Ik ozu het zker eens proberen!
